Theme: Open Innovation
Sharing information has never been so simple. Super fast internet has opened the gates for a large group of people to access unlimited amounts of data. Because of this, copyright can now be seen in a completely different light. The intellectual propertyright will have to adapt to the new information society, where the roles of consumer, artist and distributor are no longer set. The Creative Commons licence allows authors to share their work and to decide on the conditions themselves. Furthermore, Knowledgeland supports innovative internet projects which contribute to social participation, opinion formation and the exchange of knowledge within the public domain.
